Founded in 1995,
Charlie’s on the Lake has made a name in Omaha for its innovative
dishes ranging from Nebraska beef to seafood dishes with an
international flair. Owner and executive chef, Yves Menard, has
created a truly unique dining experience and an atmosphere that is
upscale but inviting to families.
Both Charlie’s
locations are committed to raising the culinary bar within the
independent restaurants of Omaha. Supplementing its traditionally
Midwestern fare of beef, potatoes and corn, Charlie’s offers a wide
variety of seafood like mahi-mahi, tilapia, both Australian and
Maine lobster, as well as scampi from Denmark.
As Chef Menard says, “Fish is fish, beef is beef and mayonnaise is
mayonnaise until you begin to put things together to make the food
unique.”
